  • Sally Lindsay's 70's Quiz Night

    Hosted by Sally Lindsay

    Sally Lindsay’s 70s Quiz Night is a lively, nostalgia-infused panel show that had very successful premier on Channel 5 in April 2025. Hosted by actress and presenter Sally Lindsay, the 90-minute special celebrates the vibrant culture of the 1970s through a series of entertaining rounds, classic clips, and themed games.

    Working closely alongside Dock 10 at Salford's Media City we shot the show using their virtual production expertise.

  • Mischief Movie Night

    The festive season saw Mischief Movie Night (In) return for a limited engagement at the Lilian Baylis Studio, part of Sadler’s Wells Theatre. Running from December 18 to 23, 2024, and January 7 to 12, 2025, the show offered both in-person performances and eight live-streamed events, allowing global audiences to participate in the improvisational fun.

  • The Shark is Broken

    Stage play co-written by Ian Shaw and Joseph Nixon, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the tumultuous filming of Steven Spielberg’s 1975 blockbuster, Jaws. Premiering at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2019, the play has since enjoyed successful runs in London’s West End, Toronto, and on Broadway.

  • Hannah Gadsby's Gender Agenda

    A 2024 Netflix stand-up comedy special hosted by Australian comedian Hannah Gadsby. Filmed at London’s Alexandra Palace Theatre, the show features a lineup of seven genderqueer comedians from around the world: Asha Ward, Jes Tom, Alok, Chloe Petts, DeAnne Smith, Krishna Istha, and Mx. Dahlia Belle. 

    Gadsby, known for their previous specials Nanette and Douglas, curated this showcase to highlight the richness of genderqueer experiences in comedy.

  • Newcastle United Football Club

    Watch

    In June 2024, Newcastle United and their principal sponsor, Sela, commemorated the first anniversary of their partnership with a spectacular 3D projection mapping show titled We Are One. This event transformed the iconic Baltic Flour Mill on the River Tyne into a dynamic canvas, celebrating the club’s rich history and its deep connection with the city and its supporters.

    The event drew over 10,000 fans to the Quayside, who expressed their admiration and emotional responses on social media. The show was produced by Artists in Motion, known for their expertise in large-scale visual productions.

  • TFI Friday 20th Anniversary Special

    The TFI Friday 20th Anniversary Special aired live on 12 June 2015 on Channel 4, marking the return of the iconic 1990s entertainment show hosted by Chris Evans. Although it was labeled as a 20th-anniversary special, it actually commemorated 19 years since the show’s debut in 1996. The guests included Blur, Liam Gallagher, Roger Daltrey, and Lewis Hamilton.

    I Directed and Produced the coverage for the finale of Jane’s  “With All My Love” UK tour with a memorable performance at Leeds’ First Direct Arena on November 22, 2024. This final show was particularly significant, taking place in her native Yorkshire, and served as a grand finale to a tour that spanned over 20 venues across the UK .

    The Link ran for two series, totaling 65 episodes. Mark Williams brought his characteristic charm and wit to the show, engaging contestants and audiences with his experience in both comedic and dramatic roles adding a unique flavour to the daytime quiz.

    This was a fun,two-part revival of the classic 1980s BBC music quiz show Pop Quiz, broadcast on BBC Four in late 2016 and early 2017. Hosted by original presenter Mike Read, the specials reunited iconic pop stars from the 1980s to compete in a nostalgic test of music knowledge.

    The show aired on BBC One from January 2011 to February 2012. The series featured professional magicians paired with celebrity guests, performing a variety of illusions and magic tricks in a competitive format. Each episode culminated in a “forfeit trick” performed by the pair receiving the fewest audience votes.

    A BBC One television special that aired in September 2007, hosted by Vernon Kay. This talent show brought together 30 of the finest Elvis Presley tribute artists from around the globe to compete for the title of the ultimate Elvis impersonator.

  • Any Dream Will Do

    Hosted by Graham Norton

    The show aimed to find an unknown male lead to play Joseph in a West End revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Featured a panel of judges including Andrew Lloyd Webber, John Barrowman, Denise van Outen, Bill Kenwright, and vocal coach Zoë Tyler.

    A children’s science game show that aired on the BBC from 2009 to 2011. Hosted by Richard Hammond, the show combined scientific experiments with fun challenges, aiming to make science engaging for young audiences

  • Test the Nation

    My first big network show. Test the Nation was notable for its interactive approach, engaging a broad audience in real-time assessments of intelligence and knowledge. Its blend of entertainment and education set a precedent for future interactive television programming.

  • The NHS at 70

    “NHS at 70 – Live” was a special 90-minute live television event broadcast on BBC Two on 26 June 2018, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the UK’s National Health Service. Hosted by Nick Robinson and Anita Rani, the programme aired from Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and served as the centrepiece of the BBC’s NHS 70th anniversary season. 

    The show featured a live audience comprising NHS staff, patients, and medical experts. It addressed critical questions about the NHS’s current state and future, including its performance compared to other countries, funding needs, the impact of an ageing population, and the role of emerging technologies in healthcare. 

  • NHS in Crisis - The Debate

    “NHS in Crisis? The Debate” was a special live programme broadcast on Channel 4 on 24 June 2024, hosted by Krishnan Guru-Murthy. The debate followed the airing of the Dispatches documentary Undercover A&E: NHS in Crisis, which exposed severe challenges within the UK’s National Health Service, particularly in emergency departments.

  • Jonny Vegs - 18 Stone of Idiot

    18 Stone of Idiot was a British television programme broadcast on Channel 4 in 2005, designed as a vehicle for comedian Johnny Vegas and produced by Chris Evans. The show combined elements of comedy, interviews, and surreal stunts, reflecting Vegas’s unique comedic style.

  • The National Lottery - Wright Around the World

    The National Lottery: Wright Around the World was a British game show broadcast on BBC One from 25 October 2003 to 8 January 2005, hosted by former footballer Ian Wright. As part of the BBC’s Saturday night National Lottery programming, the show combined general knowledge quizzes with the excitement of the live lottery draws, offering contestants the chance to win a tailor-made round-the-world holiday

  • The National Lottery - Come and Have a Go

    Julian Clary took over as host for the second series, bringing his distinctive comedic flair to the program. Emily Maitlis served as the question master during this series, posing questions to the contestants.

  • Last Choir Standing

    BBC One talent competition that aired in the summer of 2008, aiming to find the UK’s best amateur choir. The show was co-hosted by Myleene Klass and Nick Knowles, with a judging panel consisting of tenor Russell Watson, actress and singer Sharon D. Clarke, and choral conductor Suzi Digby

    Last Choir Standing brought choral music into mainstream entertainment, showcasing the diversity and talent of choirs across the UK. The show’s impact is still felt today, with many of its participants continuing to contribute to the choral music landscape

  • Traitor

    Hosted by Tony Livesey

    Traitor was a BBC Two psychological game show that aired over five consecutive nights from February 9 to 13, 2004. The show featured nine contestants—referred to as “Citizens”—among whom two were secretly designated as “Traitors.” The objective was for the Citizens to identify and eliminate the Traitors through discussion and voting. If successful, the remaining Citizens would share a £5,000 prize; if not, the Traitors would claim the winnings

    Traitor has recently resurfaced due to its resemblance to the successful series The Traitors, which premiered in 2022. Both shows involve players working to identify hidden traitors within a group, highlighting Traitor as a precursor to the modern format

  • The National Lottery Awards

    Hosted by Cilla Black and Duncan James

    Cilla Black co-hosted the National Lottery Helping Hands Awards in November 2004, an event held at the Tate Modern in London to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the UK National Lottery. The ceremony aimed to honor individuals and organizations that had made significant contributions to their communities through Lottery-funded initiatives. 

    The event attracted a host of celebrities, including Dame Shirley Bassey, who performed during the ceremony.

  • The National Lottery - 10th Anniversary Special

    The National Lottery 10th Birthday Celebration was a special television event broadcast on BBC One on 6 November 2004 to commemorate a decade since the launch of the UK National Lottery.     In the final round, the pot was split into unequal shares (e.g., 10%, 30%, 60%). Contestants had to agree on who took which share—while the money values steadily decreased. If they couldn’t agree in time, they left with nothing.

    The lighthearted companion show to the main Crufts coverage, broadcast on Channel 4 during the 2018 event. Hosted by comedian Alan Carr and seasoned sports presenter Clare Balding, the programme offered viewers a fun and engaging perspective on the world’s largest dog show.
